How we work

Every project follows the same path, with a named engineer from the first review to delivery.

Step 1: Send your project

Share drawings, BOM, 3D models, specifications and assembly instructions. If you prefer, we sign your NDA or send ours before you share anything.

What you receive: A confirmation and a named contact.
Step 2: Engineering review

Our engineers check every drawing, tolerance, material and finish. Open questions are raised before we quote, not after production has started.

What you receive: Questions and suggestions, where needed.
Step 3: Project proposal

A price for the complete scope, a schedule, the manufacturing plan and the list of documents you will receive with the delivery.

What you receive: One proposal for the whole project.
Step 4: Build and assemble

Parts are made by our audited partners and inspected on arrival. Assembly and testing take place in our group's 14,000 m² facility.

What you receive: Regular progress updates from your project engineer.
Step 5: Delivered complete

One shipment, packed for your line, with the full documentation package.

What you receive: The assembly and its documentation.

Included in every project

Our quotes are rarely the lowest. They include the engineering, supplier management, inspection and assembly that cheaper quotes leave to your team.

You pay once, and the assembly arrives ready to install.

Engineering reviewEvery drawing, tolerance and material checked before we quote.
Manufacturing planProcess route, partners and schedule agreed with you up front.
Supplier managementWe coordinate every partner and purchased part. You deal with one company.
Part inspectionParts are inspected against your drawing before assembly, with CMM where the drawing calls for it.
Assembly and functional testBuilt to your assembly instructions and tested to your acceptance criteria.
Documentation packageCertificate of conformance, material certificates, inspection and first article reports as specified.
Packaging and deliveryProtective packaging and delivery to your site in Europe or North America.
Responsibility after deliveryIf something is not right, we take responsibility for correcting it and finding the root cause.

Payment: The first order is paid in advance. From the second order, payment terms of up to 15 days apply.
Contract: One contract with AppVest covers the whole scope, including every supplier behind it.
Delivery: We deliver to customers in Europe and North America. Delivery terms are set out in each proposal.
Confidentiality: NDA before any files are shared, on your template or ours.
