Field Engineer, CNC Machining
Follow machining projects at our partner shops, from first setup to final inspection.
Responsibilities
- Visit partner facilities and follow the production of machined parts
- Review drawings and agree process routes with partners
- Carry out first-part and in-process checks
- Resolve technical questions between partners and our project engineers
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Solid knowledge of CNC milling and turning
- Able to read technical drawings and GD&T
- Driving licence (class B) and willingness to travel
- Good English, German is a plus
Field Engineer, Sheet Metal and Welding
Follow fabrication projects from cutting and bending through to welded assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Follow sheet metal and welding work at partner facilities
- Check flat patterns, bends and weld quality against drawings
- Support partners with fixturing and welding sequence questions
- Report progress and risks to the project engineer
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical, manufacturing or metallurgical engineering
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and welding processes
- Knowledge of welding standards is an advantage
- Driving licence (class B) and willingness to travel
- Good English, German is a plus
Field Engineer, Quality and Inspection
Make sure parts meet the drawing before they reach assembly.
Responsibilities
- Carry out incoming and final inspection of parts and assemblies
- Prepare dimensional and first article inspection reports
- Take part in partner audits
- Follow nonconformities through to root cause and correction
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical, industrial or metallurgical engineering
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment, CMM experience preferred
- Knowledge of GD&T and quality documentation
- Driving licence (class B) and willingness to travel
- Good English, German is a plus
Field Engineer, Assembly and Test
Turn inspected parts into working assemblies in our group's 14,000 m² facility.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mechanical assembly to customer work instructions
- Set up and run functional tests
- Coordinate missing or nonconforming parts with the project team
- Prepare assemblies and documentation for shipment
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
- Experience in mechanical assembly or production
- Able to read assembly drawings and work instructions
- Good English, German is a plus
